highbush & low bush cranberries, unrelated but taste nearly the same. After a hard frost you seek them out, bring rubber boots so you won't bogdown. eat fresh or boil w/ maple syrup to taste.
Fresh cranberries AND maple syrup - like cranberry sauce but using maple, I like that idea. Lately pure cran juice (not cut with apple or pear) is my favorite drink. Do you have a photo of you wading in the floating(?) red berries?
Wading in the bog?
ReplyDeleteAre these the same as high bush cranberries or a cousin?

Cranberries make the world a happier place; especially when you pick them yourself.
